Positive Assist is here to help give coaches the tools they need to enhance their skills to help teams and players achieve their very best. We serve coaches of all experience levels from professional coaches to volunteer and parent coaches. Based in the Denver area, we provide services from skill building courses to individual coaching consultations.
Founder Crystal Deichert has been studying sports psychology and is currently pursuing a national certification in sports consulting. She is committed to taking the latest research and most recent resources available and bringing them straight to you. She is working closely with coaches such as Mark Sharpley, who has also completed his Master's in Psychology. He brings 20 years of coaching experience with many different athletes including Chauncey Billups.
Our goal here at Positive Assist is to make everyone's experience with organized team sports a positive one.
Crystal has played 4 years of collegiate basketball. She was an Assistant Coach at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut and at Johnson and Wales University for 3 years. She has been coaching younger athletes for over 10 years. Crystal has received a Master’s Level Degree in Psychology, and has spent years observing the impact of Sports Psychology on coaches and athletes. Her passion has been to enhance sports in everyone’s life from coaches to players to fans.
